NEW signing David Brooks will wear Saints shirt number 36, it has been officially confirmed.
The 26 year old has travelled with the group to face Rotherham and could make his club debut.
Brooks was signed this week on loan from AFC Bournemouth and was the second addition to Russell Martin's ranks.
The Welsh international wears number seven for his parent club, in which he scored and assisted two against Swansea City last Thursday.
Brooks wore number 36 at Sheffield United, where he broke through the academy ranks to make 37 appearances for the senior side.
Fellow Bournemouth loanee Joe Rothwell has already made his Saints debut and wears shirt number 19.
