SAINTS have announced that supporters will now be able to access Wi-Fi at St Mary's during games - starting on Saturday against Huddersfield.
Following feedback from their fan advisory board, Southampton have been working with Focus Group to implement Wi-Fi at the club's to give fans better connectivity on matchdays.
It is now ready for fans to use, the next time you go to St Mary's and can be used to check scores across the country, check travel routes, use Saints' click and collect service and more.
Speaking about the implementation of Wi-Fi at the stadium, Saints chief executive officer, Phil Parsons said: “Where we can better the experiences our fans have when interacting with the club, we’ll absolutely do what we can to make that happen.
"We received feedback from our fans about the need to improve connectivity at the stadium and we hope this change will help them enjoy matchdays even more.”
The service will appear as ‘St Mary’s Stadium’ in the list of Wi-Fi options on a device.
Once you click on that, a form will appear – fill it out and you’ll be able to access the internet.
Your device will then automatically connect to the Wi-Fi each time you come to the stadium, without having to recomplete the form.
