SAINTS have announced goalkeeper Adli Mohamed has signed his first professional contract until 2027.
The 19 year old joined on a scholarship deal three years ago and has made steady progress through the age groups during his time at Staplewood.
Last season, he played every game in the under-18s' run to the FA Youth Cup semi-finals and has since made the step up to the under-21s this campaign.
After making his Premier League 2 debut this year, he has gained further experience around the first team squad in training and as a part of the travelling matchday squads.
Speaking after sealing professional terms, Mohamed said "It's a dream come true signing a professional contract here.
"I've been truly grateful for the last two-and-a-half years of support and opportunities I've been given.
"I think I've come on a lot in my time here, when I first came there were challenges of moving away from home but over my time I think I've really progressed and come on as a player."
Academy director Andy Goldie added: "Adli has made progress in his first season within the under-21s programme this year since making the step up.
"He is competing well with our other goalkeepers for the number one shirt.
"He's now in a great position to build on this over the coming seasons and we look forward to seeing and supporting his progression."
