SAINTS visit West Brom looking to bounce back for the first time in 26 matches after their unbeaten run ended at Bristol City.

Russell Martin's side were beaten 3-1 by the Robins at Ashton Gate but can still go second in the Championship with a game in hand over Leeds United.

However, up next is a tough test with Carlos Corberan's Baggies typically excellent at The Hawthorns, winning their last five league fixtures there.

Here is how we think Martin will line up his side...

Goalkeeper

Gavin Bazunu remains confident and you could see that in his performance at Ashton Gate despite some wayward passing under pressure.

Defenders

The back four is unlikely to change but Saints need to find a way to make sure Kyle Walker-Peters and Ryan Manning are not played behind constantly.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Jan Bednarek are reliable performers and will be key to any result at The Hawthorns.

Midfielders

Flynn Downes will be the first name on the team sheet if he is fit - we are going to lean towards caution and guess that he will not make the game.

That could mean a midfield of Will Smallbone, Joe Rothwell and Stuart Armstrong start the crucial fixture.

Attackers

We do think Che Adams will make his injury return to lead the line having missed Tuesday's 3-1 defeat at Bristol City.

It would likely be Adam Armstrong and Sam Edozie flanking him, with David Brooks and Ryan Fraser on the bench waiting for the call.

Saints: Bazunu; Walker-Peters, Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Manning; Smallbone, Rothwell, S Armstrong; A Armstrong, Edozie, Adams.
