SAINTS FC Women have been nominated for the Best Club of the Year award at the Women’s Football Awards for the second year in a row.
The club has made the shortlist at this year’s event with the winners to be decided by a public vote.
The category celebrates clubs that have shown commitment to improving the landscape of football for women while working to improve participation and inclusion in the game.
Saints have earned their place in the category alongside some of the biggest clubs in the country.
They will be competing against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Brighton, Lewes, and Wrexham for the award.
The Women’s Football Awards will take place in London on Thursday, May 30 and you can vote by visiting the awards website.
Saints are currently third in the Barclays Women's Championship and harbour ambitions of gaining promotion to the Women's Super League.
Marieanne Spacey-Cale's side are one point behind league leaders Sunderland, however, second-place Crystal Palace have a game in hand over Saints and The Lasses.
Southampton travel to Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, March 24 - while Palace take on relegation-threatened Watford and Sunderland face Durham.
