SAINTS winger Sam Amo-Ameyaw has been nominated for March's Premier League 2 player of the month award.
Having played a key role in Southampton under-21s' upturn in form, Amo-Ameyaw is one of eight players up for the accolade.
Adam Asghar's under-21 side went unbeaten in March with a draw and two dominant victories, which saw them move up the table into the PL2 playoffs.

Amo-Ameyaw impressed in particular, with two goals and three assists in those three games, scoring against Stoke City and Crystal Palace.
This is the 17 year old's first nomination for the league's monthly individual award, as he has stood out since returning to the under-21s side more regularly in recent weeks.
Amo-Amyeaw has featured seven times for Russell Martin's senior team this season - his most recent appearance in their 3-0 FA Cup win over Watford.
He was also named MVP at the Pinatar Cup last month, which he won with England's under-18s.

The nominees have been selected by the Premier League football development panel. The panel will also decide the winner, who will be announced next week.
