SAINTS defender Kyle Walker-Peters has been named in the Championship team of the season.
The 26 year old has been recognised for his performances, which have helped Saints to eight points off the top with two games in hand.
Adam Armstrong, whose 32 combined goals and assists is the joint-most of any player in England's top four leagues, was snubbed.
Plymouth Argyle's Morgan Whittaker and Leeds United's Georgino Rutter, who has scored just six goals but has 17 assists, were preferred.
Crysencio Summerville completed the frontline and was named the Championship player of the season having contributed 17 goals and eight assists so far.
Saints midfielder Joe Rothwell was beaten to the goal of the season by Ipswich Town's Wes Burns, scored versus Coventry City in December.
Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna was named as Championship manager of the season with his side firmly in an automatic promotion battle.
