SAINTS can probably count themselves out of the automatic promotion race but they will have a big part to play in its outcome.
Visiting both Leicester City and Leeds United will give Russell Martin's side a chance to be Championship-defining opponents.
As they build towards what looks likely to be the playoffs, Saints will hope to respond to Saturday's agonising 2-1 defeat at Cardiff City.
Here is how we think Martin will line up his charges at Leicester's King Power Stadium tonight...
Goalkeeper
Alex McCarthy has started the last two in the absence of Gavin Bazunu and it is unlikely Joe Lumley will be brought back in now.
Defenders
Kyle Walker-Peters, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Jan Bednarek should all keep their places for the last three games of the season.
Ryan Manning took a knock on Saturday and could be left out, giving Martin an excuse to bring Jack Stephens back into his team.
Midfielders
Martin could opt to bring in Shea Charles but it seems more likely Will Smallbone will start if Flynn Downes is unavailable again.
With Stuart Armstrong also injured, it leaves Joe Aribo and Joe Rothwell free passage into the midfield for the King Power Stadium clash.
Attackers
David Brooks should have done better at Cardiff but is high-quality on his day and his alternatives are also in poor form.
He could complete the front three, alongside goalscorers and certain starters Che Adams and Adam Armstrong.
Full predicted team
McCarthy; Walker-Peters, Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Stephens; Smallbone, Aribo, Rothwell; Brooks, A Armstrong, Adams.
