SAINTS chief commercial officer Charlie Boss is set to depart the club after 18 months.

Saints Foundation CEO Greg Baker will replace Boss as the club's new chief revenue officer on an interim basis.

Having previously worked for the FA and ESPN, Boss joined Saints to lead commercial remits, including marketing, communications and digital.

Boss was a popular member of staff and has made the decision to depart Saints due to personal reasons and family circumstances.

In a new LinkedIn post, Boss said: "After an unforgettable 18-month journey with Southampton Football Club, I am delighted to be handing the baton to Saints’ new Chief Revenue Officer, Greg Baker.

"He is inheriting a talented commercial team that has been doing phenomenal work and has big ambitions for next season in the Premier League and beyond.

"Having worked closely with Greg throughout my time with the club, I can’t think of a better person to help the team realise those ambitions.

"Thank you to all my colleagues and our fans for their warmth and kindness while I have been with this wonderful club. It was so special to be part of our promotion journey this season.

"Once a Saint, always a Saint. I am looking forward to taking some time with my family over the summer while I consider what comes next."

Baker has spent nearly 10 years working with Saints Foundation, beginning as a manager and head of partnerships before becoming CEO in 2023.

Baker said: "After nearly 10 years leading Saints Foundation, the club’s charity, I am delighted to have moved onto an exciting new role at Southampton Football Club on an interim basis from June 1.

"I’ll be taking over as Chief Revenue Officer, leading a talented commercial team working across all things ticketing, hospitality, retail, C&E, partnerships, marketing, digital and content, as we enter into the next exciting phase in our journey.

"This will see me report directly to Phil Parsons, the club’s CEO and replace Charlie Boss, who has been a huge asset to the club during his 18 months in the role.

"As part of the change, Sam Fulling will take on the leadership of Saints Foundation on the same interim basis – I have no doubt that Sam will thrive in that role, helping the charity to positively impact even more lives across our city across the coming months and years.

"As such, if anyone would like to discuss opportunities to partner with the club to help us drive revenues, please reach out and myself or one of the team will be happy to chat."
