CEO Phil Parsons has admitted Saints "still have a lot to do" ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Parsons is immensely proud of the club's promotion from the Championship and has thanked the supporters for playing their part.

He pointed out the role Saints fans had in creating an "incredible atmosphere" ahead of their Championship playoff semi-final win over West Brom.

In today's (Wednesday, June 13) 48-page picture special newspaper, Parsons has penned his latest message to fans.

He wrote: "Reflecting on the past year fills me with immense pride.

"It's been a transformative period for everyone. Witnessing a fresh connection with the club has been brilliant.

"While challenges were inevitable, your support played a crucial role in rebuilding the strong connection that suffered after relegation.

"Ending the season with a win at Wembley and returning to the Premier League was an unforgettable day for us all.

"We've faced obstacles off the pitch, but I'm grateful to our staff for their hard work to try and help improve things around the club.

"We still have a lot to do. Next season will be tough, but by sticking together, we can make St Mary's a fortress.

"The incredible atmosphere generated by fans during the playoff semi-final second leg showed our strength.

"The sold-out Northam Wall behind the goal will further enhance the atmosphere at St Mary's.

"I hope you enjoy your summer break, and we look forward to seeing you in August for our Premier League return."
