SAINTS will be Everton's final competitive opponents at Goodison Park before the Merseyside club move to a new stadium.

The 2024/25 Premier League campaign marks the final season of Everton being housed at the historic Stanley Park ground.

The Toffees are set to move to a new location - Everton Stadium - for the first time since 1892 at Bramley-Moore Dock ahead of 2025/26.

Newly-promoted Saints visit Goodison Park on Sunday, May 17, in their final away match of the new season.

The fixture is also Everton's last home game of the campaign, with Sean Dyche's side set to trip to Newcastle United on Sunday, May 25.

It means Saints will be the final competitive fixture at Goodison Park, which has hosted more top-flight games than any other UK stadium.

Everton are likely to host commemorative games at the ground following the conclusion of the Premier League season.

Saints won at Goodison Park for the first time since 1997 upon their last visit, with James Ward-Prowse netting twice in January 2023.

It was the only Premier League win claimed under the control of former boss Nathan Jones, with Saints later regulated that season.

Saints were also the final league visitors to Man City's Maine Road, beating the hosts 1-0 in May 2003 thanks to a Michael Svensson strike.
