SOUTHERN Vipers will be looking to make it three consecutive Charlotte Edwards Cup titles at finals day on Saturday.

The Utilita Bowl side will be one of the four teams competing at the County Ground in Derby hoping to take home the first silverware of the season.

Charlotte Edwards' side will face South East Stars, who the Vipers beat by 113 runs on Wednesday, in their semi-final with the Blaze and Central Sparks facing off in the other game.

Speaking to BBC Radio Solent after the comprehensive victory in midweek, Maia Bouchier revealed she is looking forward to playing in the "high-pressure" moments.

She said: "We want to bring Lottie home. That's the aim. You want to play in those moments and high-pressure situations.

"(South East Stars) might have big players coming in but so will we. We are super excited to meet them again. Hopefully, we will win that semi and go into the final."

The Blaze, who won the group stage with nine wins and one loss, will get the action underway at 11 AM against the fourth-placed Sparks.

Southern Vipers' game is expected to commence at around 2:30 PM with the final then scheduled for 6:45 PM.

The Vipers started their CEC campaign with a narrow three-run defeat to Loughborough Lightning before Georgia Elwiss struck 73 not out in a big win over Sunrisers.

Sunrisers then gained revenge for that loss by beating the reigning champions but a Georgia Adams-inspired Vipers beat Western Storm to make it two wins from four.

Three consecutive victories over Lancashire Thunder, Western Storm, and Northern Diamonds followed to put Vipers on course for finals day.

In the last week, there have been mixed results with a heavy defeat to Central Sparks and a big win over South East Stars to set last year's winners up going into Saturday.
