SAINTS are reportedly one of four Premier League clubs interested in Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.

The Scotland international - who netted his ninth goal for his country at EURO 2024 - has entered the last 12 months of his deal.

Academy graduate McTominay has made 252 appearances for Man United, scoring 19 goals in 176 Premier League matches.

McTominay, 27, has been a regular under Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag and can operate in several positions across a midfield - including advanced.

ManchesterWorld report that Man United are prepared to sell McTominay this summer with four Premier League clubs interested.

The report states that Saints are one of those clubs, alongside league rivals Newcastle United, West Ham United and Fulham.

They add that Fulham's interest is most serious with Cottagers boss Marco Silva wanting to pair him with former Man United teammate Andreas Pereira.

Man United reportedly expect a bid to be made by Fulham for McTominay later this summer.

West Ham had a move for McTominay rejected last year and they have since changed managers with David Moyes replaced by Julen Lupotegui.

McTominay would likely be on huge wages at Man United and a Saints move feels unrealistic, despite the reports suggesting their admiration.

However, Saints are in the market for midfield improvements with interest in Celtic top scorer Matt O'Riley and free agent Callum O'Hare also linked.
