SAINTS supporters have reacted to the unveiling of the club's brand-new kits for the 2024/25 Premier League and Women's Championship seasons.

This season’s shirts are the first created by PUMA and bring back Southampton's traditional home and away colours back with a modern twist.

Both the home (red and white stripes) and away (bright yellow) kits take inspiration from Southampton’s naval history, by featuring a razzle dazzle design, otherwise known as dazzle painting.

Tony Cox said: "Brilliant that we are back in conventional kit. Shame about the sponsor."

Michael Bland was in agreement, adding: "I’m happy we are back in stripes, it looks smart. Shame about another gambling company on the front though."

Matthew Legg-Wilde commented: "Personally, screams "Brentford" as soon as I saw it. How long until we get an Oasis-inspired "You've gotta Rollbit".... chant?!?!?"

David Bonner wrote: "A massive improvement on that hideous pyjama top our boys wore last season."

Tim Grigg is not a fan, he said: "Don’t like the logo and shirt doesn’t look as good as previous seasons."

Christopher H Norris said: "Back to traditional red and white stripes is great but the logo not so, especially with the yellow O."

Julia JF commented: "Not sure about the sponsor but definitely a fan of the yellow as I feel it's a nod to our FA Cup success."

Kate Horne wrote: "It's a bit too razzle-dazzle but may look better in daylight! And we get to sing 'Come On You Yellows' again, shades of 1976."

Steve Moran added: "Would’ve preferred a deeper yellow and a lighter blue, but not bad at all. As Kate said, we can sing Come On You Yellows again."

Jamie Stone explained: "Not really but I'm sure it will grow on me."

Fans can purchase shirts in-store and online as well as via the club’s Click and Collect service.

The club store will be open from 10am until 4pm every day, including Sunday, for fans to pick up their new shirts.
