SAINTS have been listed among clubs reportedly interested in signing Liverpool winger Ben Doak this summer.

Liverpool are said to be weighing up the possibility of loaning the 18 year old out this season after his impressive cameos for the senior team.

Doak is reportedly keen on consistent first-team football after injury problems prevented him from regular game time last season.

The Scottish winger made five appearances for Jurgen Klopp's Reds during the first half of the 2023/24 campaign before an injury curtailed his season.

He had also been named in Scotland's provisional squad for Euro 2024 but was forced to withdraw through injury.

The Mirror report that Southampton and Leicester are among a number of clubs keen to sign Doak, either on loan or permanently.

They add that he plans to sit down with new Liverpool boss Arne Slot after pre-season to decide whether he wants to leave on loan.

The former Celtic teen is rated highly at Anfield but could see his game time restricted by Liverpool's long list of star forwards.

Southampton have been linked with a number of wingers this season, including Crystal Palace's Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

They are also keen on re-signing Ryan Fraser following his loan, but no agreement has been met with Newcastle United yet.
