SAINTS have been listed among clubs reportedly interested in Borussia Dortmund starlet Youssoufa Moukoko.

The 19 year old is said to want an exit from the Champions League runners-up this summer after a lack of game time.

It's unclear whether the German international wants to leave permanently or on loan following comments made to the press by his agent.

Sky German report that Southampton are among a long list of clubs who have shown an interest in the young forward.

Girona, Real Betis, Sevilla, Rennes and Real Sociedad are also credited with an interest in Moukoko, who was formally considered one of the most promising young players in world football.

Moukoko has not kicked on as expected in recent seasons. He played just 758 minutes last season but did score six goals across 27 appearances.

Moukoko made a name for himself with an impressive goalscoring record in youth football.

His precocious talent saw him earn a first Bundesliga appearance a day after turning 16.

He has since made 99 appearances for Dortmund, scoring 18 times and providing eight assists. He has also earned two Germany caps.

Saints have been actively pursuing new forwards following Che Adams' departure and are close to signing Ben Brereton Diaz from Villarreal.
