MANAGER Kelvin Davis insisted Eastleigh are focused on themselves ahead of their National League opener against Maidenhead United.
The Spitfires rounded out their pre-season preparations with a 3-0 defeat at League One Exeter City on Saturday.
Retired goalkeeper Davis is pleased with how pre-season has gone but is excited to play games "that matter."
His side travel to York Road on Saturday for their opening game of the 2024/25 season.
Speaking to Eastleigh's media team, Davis outlined how their preparations will look this week.

He said: "By the last week of pre-season, everybody is absolutely ready to start the new season.
I'm sure if you asked every coach in the league you would 100 per cent get (the same answer).
"For the first two or three games of the season, nobody knows a lot about anyone.
You can do bits of homework, but we will be different for the start of the season, as will Maidenhead.
"It's very much about us and what we can do on the day. We will focus on that and develop that during this week.
He continued: "We will have the same week of prep that we have had in pre-season, we won't change too much, we will just turn the volume up.
"The focus gets turned up naturally as we get closer to the start of the season. Players will be thinking about the starting lineup.
"That's because everybody wants to start the game. We have got a squad where we can make changes and be different over three or four games."
