EASTLEIGH have announced the signing of Wes McDonald on a short-term deal following the expiration of his contract at Partick Thistle.
McDonald spent his youth career at three different clubs in Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Birmingham City before signing a professional contract with the Blues in 2015.
The winger was sent out on loan and spent time at Nuneaton Town and Solihull Moors in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
A move to the South-East was next for McDonald when he joined Yeovil Town and made nine appearances with the then League Two side.

The 27 year old then returned to the Midlands when he joined Walsall and went on to flourish after making 69 appearances, the most at any club he’s been to.
The 2021/22 season saw him move to Morecambe where he appeared 17 times for the Shrimpers before resettling in the North-East with Hartlepool United.
His most recent club prior to Eastleigh was in Scotland where he spent the 2023/24 season playing for Partick Thistle.
Upon joining the Spitfires, McDonald said: “I’m delighted to be here. I’m excited to get involved and hopefully, I can help the club reach their ambitions this season.”
