WINGER Ryan Fraser insists Saints have left "no stone unturned" ahead of facing Manchester United this afternoon.
Russell Martin's side are still searching for their first win of the Premier League season following three straight defeats.
Southampton have not beaten United at St Mary's since August 2003, while the Red Devils have only lost one of their last 30 games against recently promoted sides.
Fraser could make his first appearance since returning to the club permanently on deadline day, but a lack of match fitness could delay his second debut.
The 30 year old admitted Saints are fully prepared for the threat United will pose after a lengthy international break.
Fraser told the Daily Echo: "We need to cut out some individual errors. Those happen in football, no one is to blame.
"No one tries to make a mistake. I think everyone needs to realise that. I think they are going to come here to press.
"But the gaffer has given us all the information, all the know-how, there's no stone unturned with the gaffer here.
"He's shown us that if they press like this, then we're going to play like this. I think we are ready to face Manchester United."
Erik ten Hag's side have also started the season slowly, earning just three points from their first three games.
Despite some outside suggestions that United are not the Red Devils they used to be, Fraser was adamant that Saints should not have that viewpoint.
"If you go into a game thinking that then you've been beaten already," he explained. "If you go in and say 'they're not as good as they were,' I just don't think that's the right attitude.
"And the gaffer won't let us do that here. He showed us clips. Like I said, no stone has gone unturned.
"We're ready for it and you believe that they're going to be the best, so we need to be even better."
