SAINTS will not learn their Carabao Cup fourth round opponents until next week after they beat Everton on penalties at Goodison Park.
The draw for the fourth round of the competition takes place on Wednesday, September 25, after the tie between Liverpool and West Ham at Anfield.
Matches are taking place next week in the Carabao Cup due to Champions League fixtures being staged across the continent this midweek.
The draw will be made live on Sky Sports and the ball numbers will not be announced until the morning of the event.
The week commencing Monday, October 28, has been allocated for the fourth-round fixtures, as Saints await their opponents with interest.
Russell Martin's side will be one of just 16 teams left in the competition after dispatching of Cardiff City and the Toffees on the road.
Championship sides Stoke City, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End are the lowest-ranked teams guaranteed to be left in the cup.
Seven ties are still to be played, including the four English teams that qualified for the Champions League for this season.
