EVERY word Russell Martin said following Southampton's 3-2 defeat to Leicester City at St Mary's on Saturday.
Q: Russell, what went wrong there?
RM: Well, we have a man sent off and it changes the context of the game completely. We start the game brilliantly, play so well.
The last 15 minutes of the first half I didn't enjoy really, we turned the ball over too much. But I thought we came out in the second half started really, really well.
It looked like we were going to score a third goal actually and then they scored really against the run of play.
We had to make a change when Yuki got injured and we don't defend well enough at that point. So it's disrupted the team a little bit. And then even at 2-1, we're just not, after that it's okay.
It's fine. It settled down a bit and then Ryan (Fraser) gets sent off and it changes everything and then we defend really well on the whole.
They scored a penalty after that. The lads defend with absolute spirit and fight and togetherness. And Will's injured for 15 minutes on the pitch as well.
But we brought Kamaldeen on to give us one moment and he had it in their box and we didn't make most of it. And then we concede.
Someone doesn't do what they're asked to do from a corner again, same as Ipswich and then we concede a goal.
Q: What do you think about that penalty? People asked about Ryan Fraser being sent off and look at the incident at the other end of the pitch. What's your view on everything?
RM: Yeah, I think one's right on the goal line so it's a bit different. I think if Paul goes down it makes a big deal because it's a huge shirt ball.
It's much bigger than Ryan Fraser's is. But I don't know if they are. I've looked at it and said no. Or if they haven't, I don't know what that process is.
But I haven't got a problem with the referee's performance today. I was frustrated at the end. We'd played longer than the seven minutes but that's just frustration and emotion coming out.
Q: We've seen another set-piece were two players are free and able to get a late goal. That's got to be really frustrating.
RM: We do a lot of work on set pieces and we should have scored one today and we defended brilliantly against the best set-piece team in Europe last weekend.
The last game we played at Arsenal we were incredible the way we defended it. Today we're down to ten men, a few subs on but one person had one job to do that would have stopped that goal and they didn't.
Q: Is it a concern that it's something that's happened again now in a game where you should be leaving with more point?
RM: No, the concern is the person didn't do it. It's not about detail, not about lack of work.
It would be a concern if we had the lack of detail or lack of work but it's about taking responsibility and doing what you're asked to do.
Q: Adam Lallana has not come on again. What would you say to the supporters about that decision?
RM: We were down to ten men and we were not going to have a lot of the ball. That's not Adam's strength. Adam's strength is to really dominate the ball.
If we still have 11 men he would have come on today 100% and helped us create or control the game but he didn't.
Q: A lot of people on the outside will have made their opinions but there's only one opinion that really matters to you but do you fear for your job after a game like this?
RM: I had a brilliant chat with Dragan and the guys yesterday. We had a board meeting so no.
Q: You mentioned Will was holding his hamstring...
RM: It looks like he's tweaked his hamstring again which is really disappointing for him and for us.
He soldiered on and battled through the last 10-15 minutes with that for the team because that's the kind of guy he is.
Q: I know they're a very particular set of circumstances today but you've spoken before that maybe the confidence or something isn't there. Did you see it that way today?
RM: No, I don't think so. I think we got it in half-time and we started the second half so well. Then they scored out of nowhere.
We had to make a sub of Yuki which disrupted us a little bit. Ryan Fraser broke through a couple of times after that and we looked really dangerous still.
I thought we've coped with that really well and then he gets sent off and it changes everything.
Q: You said you had that meeting with Dragan and the board. When was that? Was that yesterday?
RM: Yeah, it was planned mate so you can relax.
Q: Can you give any details of what was said there at all?
RM: No, I wouldn't give you any details if we were sitting at the top of the Premier League.
Q: You could have been three up at half-time...
RM: Yeah, we should have been and we should have scored after half-time as well and we don't kill the game often in the Premier League.
I think it's a big problem.
Q: You couldn't have seen it coming Russell.
RM: No, not when it was 11-11. I was really happy with a lot of the performance and a lot of the performances of the team.
Mateus was one foul away from getting red-carded as well because he'd had a booking and made a few and was a bit fatigued from his international travels.
I will look at the change we made and all that stuff but I think genuinely the red-card has really changed the game for us.
I think it was a brilliant time for us to get through a difficult moment when we conceded 2-1 and felt we did and then that happened.
