SAINTS boss Russell Martin disclosed winger Ryan Fraser is a fitness doubt ahead of facing Everton on Saturday.
Fraser, 30, was withdrawn in the first half against Stoke City on Tuesday evening having attempted to play through illness.
Martin revealed during the week that several Southampton players have struggled with a virus in recent weeks.
Most of those players did train on Friday, with Fraser playing a reduced role. The former Scotland winger will be assessed on Saturday.
"I think everyone's pretty much recovered, everyone trained today," Martin said, previewing his side's game against the Toffees.
"I think Ryan Fraser is probably the only injury concern we have, after coming off early the other night.
"We'll assess him again in the morning. He did a little bit today, we'll have to assess him again in the morning and see if he's available."
