SAINTS players took to their social media accounts to celebrate Saturday's massive first win of the Premier League season.
The St Mary's side edged out Everton 1-0 in a close-run contest between potential relegation rivals thanks to a late goal from Adam Armstrong.
Saints had to wait until the 10th attempt for their first three points, just as the eventual survivors did during the 1998/1999 season.
