SAINTS defender Jan Bednarek has suffered a "knee ligaments injury", the Polish FA have confirmed.
Bednarek was forced off at halftime against Portugal on Friday evening after a clash with Cristiano Ronaldo saw him land awkwardly on his knee.
Poland's statement suggests the Southampton defender will be out for three weeks. Saints are yet to provide any further details.

Bednarek has played the most minutes for Southampton this season (980) and has been an important figure at the back.
The 28 year old has had the most touches of any player (1,064) and attempted the third most passes in the Premier League (407).
A three-week injury layout would see him miss Premier League fixtures against Liverpool, Brighton, Chelsea and Aston Villa.
