FIRST prize for the most sensational Saints transfer link has already been scooped with reports in Spain detailing interest in Real Madrid's Endrick.

Endrick, 18, is one of the most famous teenage footballers on the planet following his high-profile 2024 transfer from Palmeiras to Los Blancos.

Champions League title-holders Real Madrid secured the Brazilian, who scored against England in March, in a deal that could be worth over £50million.

Although he is a regular international for one of the great footballing countries with 13 caps, his playing time has been limited in the Spanish capital.

Endrick has played just 18 minutes across Real Madrid's last six La Liga fixtures, while he has scored two goals in 10 appearances for his new side.

Saints are named as one of the teams interested in a sensational January loan move as they look to bolster their attack, according to Sport.

However, the Premier League outfit is also named alongside Serie A giants Roma and Spanish side Real Valladolid, based not far from Madrid.

Valladolid are said to have called the youngster in an attempt to convince him to join, while Roma boss Claudio Ranieri has asked for youthful attackers.

Roma are named as having the best chance to sign Endrick, who still wants to prove he can break into Madrid's star-studded lineup.

England star Jude Bellingham, Ballon d'Or runner-up Vinicius Junior and former PSG and Monaco phenom Kylian Mbappe currently stand in his way.

Saints manager Russell Martin has confirmed his desire to add more firepower in attack, with his side sitting bottom of the Premier League after 11 matches.

"We lack real top-end speed. Unless you're Man City and you can buy whoever you want, you have to give up something," he said.
