SAINTS manager Russell Martin will have to make at least two changes to his starting side to face league leaders Liverpool due to injuries.
Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and defender Jan Bednarek have been ruled out for a few weeks by the boss, who declared it as an opportunity for others.
Saints sit bottom of the Premier League with just four points from 11 matches, while Liverpool have won nine and lost only one of their fixtures.
Here is how we think Martin could line up his side to face the Reds at St Mary's...
Goalkeeper
Aaron Ramsdale has been ruled out of action with a broken finger and his absence will pave the way for Alex McCarthy's return to action in net.
Defenders
Saints are also without ever-present Jan Bednarek and this will mean Taylor Harwood-Bellis partners captain Jack Stephens in central defence.
Yukinari Sugawara could return to the lineup while Kyle Walker-Peters and Ryan Manning operate together on the left to disrupt Mohamed Salah.
Midfielders
Flynn Downes missed the defeat at Wolves through a slight knock but has been passed fit to return and will seek to provide Saints with a solid base.
Veteran Adam Lallana could retain his place in the team with Adam Armstrong and Mateus Fernandes as wide midfielders in the creative hub.
Attackers
Cameron Archer could be tasked with leading the line on his own, although Dibling and Fernandes will offer him support from the flanks.
Full predicted team
(5-4-1): McCarthy; Sugawara, Harwood-Bellis, Stephens, Walker-Peters, Manning; Downes, Lallana, Armstrong, Fernandes; Archer.
