MARK Wotte has one major selection dilemma ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Blackpool, with right back Lloyd James suspended.
The 21-year-old picked up his tenth booking of the season against QPR and has been banned for two games as a result.
The most likely candidate to fill the gap is 19-year-old Jake Thomson, who made an impressive appearance as a sub on the right side of midfield last Saturday.
But Wotte is keeping his options open.
“We have several options,” he said.
“(Zoltan) Liptak can play and JP Saeijs can play as a right back.
“Jamie Hatch is kicking on from the reserve team.
“Simon Gillett can play very easily as a right back.
“Jake Thomson can play, so we will find the best.
“We can play with three defenders, play like a 3-4-1-2 system.
“You don’t need to play with four defenders, you can also play with three defenders.
“Or you can play a 5-3-2 system, so there are many options to fill in this position and we will see on Saturday what we are going to decide.”
