FORMER St Mary’s star Brett Ormerod wishes Saints and Blackpool could both walk away from Bloomfield Road with three points today.
The striker, who is in his second spell with the Seasiders, is set to line up against his old club this afternoon.
The 32-year-old admitted it will be a day of mixed emotions. He also said he is “heartbroken” to see the club in the situation it is now.
Ormerod spent four years at Saints, helping them reach the 2003 FA Cup final and achieve their highest-ever finish in the Premier League.
Despite having the “best times” of his career there, he will have to try and put them to the sword today.
