SAINTS head coach Mark Wotte says his players are ready for the testing challenge of four games in nine days.
Saints resume their relegation battle after the two week international break and begin one of their busiest runs of games of the whole season when they host rock-bottom Charlton Athletic at St Mary’s tomorrow.
It is the first of four vital games in less than a fortnight that will ‘make or break’ Saints’ survival hopes.
Saints travel to fellow relegation-threatened side Watford on Tuesday before facing a tough-looking trip to Championship leaders Wolves on Good Friday.
Then comes a home meeting with Crystal Palace on Easter Monday.
And ahead of the start of that run, Wotte said: “There are four games in nine days but we have had a good break so everybody is ready for it.
“There is no fatigue or no small injuries.
“They are good professionals and we prepare them well so they can play four games in nine days without a problem.”
As it is the next one, the most important game of the four for Wotte is the visit of the ailing Addicks.
“Every game is massive and we need at least 12 to 14 points to stay up and the sooner we get them the better,” he said.
“The match at home against Charlton is a must win game for us so it’s very important.
