SAINTS Aid organisers have made a last minute plea for supporters to show their true colours in their club’s hour of need.
Tickets are still available and they are desperate for a successful event after the All Stars match was cancelled due to lack of interest.
The £15 tickets buy entrance to the Saints Aid festival tomorrow, which will feature more than 15 local bands, as well associated events at the King Alfred and Oceana, including the dance night headlined by Artful Dodger.
Organiser David Extance said: “This is your chance to show how much you really care about this club.
“A lot of time and effort has gone into organising Saints Aid and we’ve received generous donations from companies across the city.
“But for it to be a success we need the fans to put their money where their mouth is.
“It’ll be a fantastic day for families and music lovers and all the funds raised goes straight to the club.”
Entrance to the “family fun”
day event at St Mary’s is free, but a donation of £5 is suggested, with all funds going straight to the club.
The post-6pm evening gig event is strictly ticketed.
Tickets, which cost £15, also buys entrance to other Saints Aid-related events happening across Southampton this weekend.
