SAINTS will receive less than three-quarters of the transfer fee they agreed with Swansea for the sale of winger Nathan Dyer.
The 21-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Championship side yesterday, for a £400,000 sum.
However, a proportion of that has gone to Notts County, who were owed money by Saints from the transfers of David McGoldrick in 2005 and Leon Best a year previously.
The League Two side were due an undisclosed amount, known to be worth six figures, in February because of an appearances clause in McGoldrick’s contract following his move to St Mary’s from Meadow Lane for £500,000.
