PINNACLE and Mark Wotte are staying silent about the head coach’s future after talks were held yesterday.
Both parties met for the first time, but refused to reveal the outcome of their discussions.
The silence casts doubt over Wotte’s future and the Daily Echo understands Pinnacle are likely to want their own man in charge if they complete a takeover, although they may still see a role for the Dutchman at the club.
When contacted by the Echo, Wotte said: “I am not allowed to disclose anything about the content of the meeting.
“A lot of issues were on the table, but we agreed to keep it confidential for a couple of days or maybe a few weeks.”
That means fans are likely to be kept in the dark about Pinnacle’s plans for the coaching staff until a deal for the club is formally completed.
