Saints are expected to have record support at Wembley
SAINTS could be followed by more fans at the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final than any club has ever taken to the new Wembley.
Demand is sure to be high among supporters keen to cheer Alan Pardew’s men on at the new national stadium against Carlisle on Sunday, March 28.
The Football League confirmed to the Daily Echo last night that Saints’ allocation should be around the 40,000 mark.
The current record for a single club’s Wembley allocation is Luton Town, who last season sold about 37,800 tickets for their Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final against Scunthorpe.
