SAINTS boss Alan Pardew has told his players to go on the attack in today’s south coast derby.
Pompey enter the FA Cup fifth round match at St Mary’s as favourites, but Pardew has warned the Blues his side will not back down.
He also believes a partisan sell-out crowd could help bridge some of the gap between the sides.
“This is a bonus game for us and we are treating it as such –I’ve told my players to go on the front foot and attack,” he said.
“We need to be professional, but if we are on the front foot I think we can win."
