THE Ex-Saints Association has joined forces with the Peter Osgood Trust to help ex-Dell defender Kevin Moore.
The Daily Echo recently revealed Moore is in need of around-the-clock care after being diagnosed with Pick’s Disease, a form of Fronotemporal Dementia.
It is similar in its debilitating effects to Alzheimer’s, but attacks its victims at a much younger age.
Moore is now 51 and the Daily Echo has thrown its support behind the campaign to raise awareness and funds for dementia.
On May 1, the anniversary of Saints’ FA Cup win in 1976, a black tie dinner is being held at St Mary’s.
Two days later there will be a football match between Ex-Saints and an Ex-Chelsea XI at Eastleigh’s Silverlake Stadium.
Both events are being staged in order to raise funds that will be shared evenly between the Peter Osgood Trust and to assist Moore.
