SAINTS thumped Huddersfield 5-0 at St Mary's tonight, as they closed the gap on the playoffs..
Alan Pardew's men followed up Saturday's 5-1 win over Walsall with a 5-0 drubbing of the Terriers.
Saints are now 14 points behind sixth-placed Huddersfield with two games in hand.
