Two gold-medal winning performances from 11-year-old Alex Cameron-Calvo ensured the City of Southampton member became South East regional champion for both the 100m freestyle and the 100m butterfly.
Competing at the new 50m pool at Crawley, the youngster, pictured, triumphed in the 100m freestyle in a personal best time of 1.06.22.
In another nail biting race, Alex was first in the 100m butterfly in 1.15.01.
Also swimming in the South East Championships, City of Southampton's Abigail Slater swam in seven events.
The 12-year-old gained pbs in the 400m freestyle (5.06.24), 100m freestyle (1.08.70), 200m freestyle (2.24.28) and 800m freestyle (10.26.00) .
Sebastian Willcocks (14) gained pbs in the 100m butterfly (1.07.69) and 200m IM (2.34.39).
Sam Miller swam in the 100m freestyle (1.02.43, pb).
The relay team of Abigail Slater, Hannah Husband, Zoe Miller and Hannah Cole, all 12, won their girls 11/13yrs medley heat easily.
