Michael Wilde has promised to put a fan on the Saints board if he wins the EGM.
The revelation comes from the Wilde camp's eagerly-awaited manifesto, which is expected to be published in full either today or tomorrow.
Wilde has already had meetings with the Saints Trust and other fans, while potential directors Jim Hone, Lee Hoos, Ken Dulieu and Patrick Trant will face questions from supporters at Northam Social Club tonight (8pm).
Though the exact details of who the fan would be will not be decided until after the EGM, Wilde is happy to make the promise in principle for it to happen.
The fan would sit on the club's football board, which would be responsible for the football decisions at the club and would have to be a properly elected representative.
Saints chairman Rupert Lowe, who was today facing questions from the media for the first time since the EGM calling for his removal was requisitioned, has also promised fans consultation.
He will allow supporters' groups to quiz him behind closed doors on Wednesday, June 28. It continues his policy of dialogue behind the scenes with fans but he has made no commitment as yet to elect a fan representative to the board.match."
