South Winchester's Jonathan Barnes set a new record aggregate score in winning Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club's 36-hole Pro-Am.
The tournament, sponsored by Newport based Island Waste Services, was being played for the 25th year and Barnes, right, celebrated this anniversary with superb rounds of 66 and 67 for a record-breaking seven-under-par total of 133.
He finished five shots clear of Lee-on-the-Solent's James Ablett (138), who had opened with a new course record round of 64 but had then fallen away with a four-over-par second round of 74.
Third place was shared by Romsey's James Pitcher, Walhampton's Kevin Saunders and Hayling's Mark Treleaven on a one-under-par total of 139.
Saunders and his team of James Summers, Ashley Lawrence and Kris Iona won the Pro-Am with a 17-under-par score of 123, two shots better than James Moore (Portsmouth Golf Centre) and his team of Vic Grant, Eugene Slevin and Paul Grant.
