Blackfield's three-year hold on the New Forest Primary Schools' Track and Field League title looks increasingly precarious after Orchard won the latest boys' and girls' matches at Blackfield.
Seven schools competed with the hosts second in both sections. New Milton are third in the standings.
In the 80m boys' A race there was a win for Ben Bartlett (New Milton) in 12.2s, while Bradley Morris (New Milton) and Aaron Lucas (Blackfield) shared the honours in the B race in 12.6s.
Orchard landed a double first in the 600m, James Jordan winning the A race in 1:53.8 and Oliver Da Costa taking B honours in 2:07.2.
The turbo javelin was won by Alex McKenzie-Grist (Orchard) with a throw of 22.1m to win pool A and Billy House (Brockenhurst) triumphed in pool B with 23m.
Orchard completed a strong boys' showing by winning the 4x50m relay in 32.1s.
In the girls' events, the 80m A race was won by Ellie Hall (Orchard) in 12.2s, while Sarah Jury took the B race in 12.5s.
Jessica Derbyshire (Orchard) won the 600m A race in 2:14.4, with Vilisi Tekei (Marchwood) winning the B event in 2:20.4.
Blackfield reigned in the turbo javelin, Alice Jones winning pool A with a throw of 22.9m and Steph Warne succeeding in pool B with 17.6m.
Pool A in the long jump went to Hannah Morton (Blackfield) with 3.55m, with pool B honours shared between Lucy Stevens (Blackfield), Maze Bandowill (Ashley) and Beth Younger (Marchwood) with 3.2m.
Match result: 1 Orchard 106.5 points, 2 Blackfield 94, 3 New Milton 79.5, 4 Abbotswood 74.5, 5 Brockenhurst 53.5, 6 Ashley 53, 7 Marchwood 38.
