THERE has been fresh speculation over the future of Alan Pardew as Saints manager raised during this afternoon’s match with Southend.

BBC Radio Solent have reported that owner Markus Liebherr has not attended the game because he is “unhappy” with the progress that has been made this season.

It is rumoured that a meeting could take place during the week to resolve the situation.

The speculation follows on the back of Saints’ matchday programme being mysteriously withdrawn from sale.

No explanation has yet been received by the club about why the programme was pulled.
