George Burley has said the words all Saints fans wanted to hear and committed his future to the club.
Speaking for the first time since the chairman that appointed him, Rupert Lowe, left St Mary's and a new board took over, Burley reiterated his words of a fortnight ago when he said he sees himself at the club for the long term.
The Saints boss is training with his players at Pennyhill Park in Surrey this week and said: "I had a meeting with them yesterday. We're all looking forward to the new season.
"There are new owners and they seem very supportive indeed which is great.
"I had a great relationship with Rupert and was sad to see him go, but the consortium have taken over now and seem very supportive as well, which is what you want.
"I definitely still see myself here for the long term."
