Saints have confirmed that season ticket holders now have an extra nine days to guarantee their seats at discounted prices and even new season ticket holders will be getting them cheaper than planned.
Although it is a complicated process, in essence it means that anybody who currently does not have a season ticket can get one cheaper than if the new board hadn't taken over.
The move came in response to many fans boycotting renewals in protest at Saints chairman Rupert Lowe, the new board promising in their manifesto to allow fans the opportunity to get their tickets at cheaper than normal prices beyond the initial June 30 renewal deadline.
And, in an extra bonus from the club, new season ticket applicants will now pay the standard season ticket renewal rate, not the more expensive general sale rate as would have been the case.
All season tickets sold, whether renewals or new applications, will now be at the standard season ticket renewal prices. The more expensive general sale price has been scrapped while the heavily discounted Early Bird' price expired on April 30 and can't be revived For full details, see today's Daily Echo
