Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club's Pro-Am proved a real bonus for Bruce Parker, the home professional, when he won first prize with a five-under-par round of 65.
Parker, pictured above, the 2006 Hampshire PGA captain, coped admirably with the pressures of organising the event to leave the rest of the field trailing in his wake. Second place went to Walhampton's Kevin Saunders with a two-under-par round of 68. Lee-on-the-Solent's James Ablett was third on 69.
Consolation for Saunders came with victory in the Pro-Am with his amateur team of Terry Drake, Eddie Edwards and Gary Cheater. Their 16-under-par score of 124 was one shot better than Blackmoor's Michael Farley with his team of Richard Macro, Jamie Hooper and Keiron Murphy. Third place went to Hockley's Gary Stubbington and his team of Wayne Brackstone, Mark Parson and Nick Harfield.
Other prizewinners included Matt Clarke, Ray Hunt and Andy Haworth.
