SAINTS have made no official move for midfielders Chris Lines or Brian Stock.
There has been speculation that Alan Pardew is set to make a double swoop for the pair.
But The Daily Echo can confirm that, as yet, no move has been made for either.
Winchester-born Stock is contracted to Championship side Doncaster.
The 28-year-old’s current deal with Sean O’Driscoll’s team runs out next summer.
There was some interest from Saints in the midfielder during the January transfer window.
However, that never got as far as an official bid.
But, with Stock out of contract next summer, Doncaster may well be willing to cash in on the former AFC Bournemouth player while they still can.
Saints had also made enquiries about Bristol Rovers midfielder Lines during January.
However, the 24-year-old signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal at the Memorial Stadium before the transfer window shut.
But there is a clause in that contract that allows Lines to speak to other clubs if they can meet a £500,000 asking price.
There has been talk of Saints considering a player-plus-cash deal for Lines.
However, no bid has yet been made.
