SAINTS are facing a backlash from supporters over season tickets for the new campaign.
After a long wait, the club finally announced late on Monday night what the 2010/11 details were.
Although prices have gone up across the board, the club has received praise from some quarters for their value.
But there is anger about the decision to axe the payment plan, whereby fans could pay in installments.
Instead, supporters will have to put their money down up front to secure a season ticket.
With the renewal period ending on June 30, some fans are faced with having to scrape together hundreds of pounds in the next few weeks to pay for their seat again.
For families of four, the cost could rise above £1,000.
SaintsWeb forum administrator Steve Grant said he was happy with the new prices, but could not understand the lack of a payment plan.
“I’ve got no issue with the prices,” he said.
“It’s just all the other extras they have announced, which beggar belief.
“This has been thrust upon us at 11 o’clock on Monday night and we’re told we’ve only got 30 days to find 300-odd quid.
“It’s just bizarre.”
