FRAZER Richardson continued his comeback from injury and a number of other first-team players were involved as Saints Under-21s beat a Fulham side 2-0 in a friendly match this afternoon.
Right-back Richardson, who signed from Charlton in the summer, started the game as he finishes his recovery from a dislocated shoulder in pre-season.
The 27-year-old, who was a substitute at Huddersfield on Saturday, was joined by Bartosz Bialkowski, Radhi Jaidi, Aaron Martin, Ryan Dickson, Alex Chamberlain, Paul Wotton and Lee Holmes as players with first-team experience in the side.
While the side again hardly justified its 'Under-21' tag, it was a useful exercise for many.
A first-half goal from Alex Chamberlain gave Saints the lead, before Ryan Doble made it 2-0 early in the second half.
