Andy Gray, Saints' head groundsman
Saints groundsman Andy Gray, was one of the runners-up in IOG Professional Football Groundsman of the Year Awards 2010.
Simon Marshall, head groundsman at League Two club Burton Albion FC, won the title for his outstanding achievements at the Pirelli Stadium.
The IOG Award – adjudged on a set of criteria that includes pitch usage, available resources, machinery utilisation and problem management as well as health and safety issues – is a prized accolade within football groundsmanship.
