Matt Le Tissier believes a Premier League football club will go bust unless the game's finances are more strictly controlled.
The Saints legend's thoughts are part of a wide-ranging number of views he expressed in a revealing discussion about all things football this week.
Speaking about the increasing strain on finances at the top level, Le Tissier said: "There will be at some point a big football club that will go bust and they’ll have to start all over again in the non-league."
Le Tissier has also spoken about the Wayne Rooney saga, the power of football agents and the actions of modern-day players, as well as the performances of ex-Saint Gareth Bale and the tackling debate.
