SAINTS may have notched their biggest home win of the season and climbed into the play-off places but manager Nigel Adkins was still not happy.
After the 4-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge, Adkins said he was actually disappointed with aspects of his side’s performance.

There were not too many complaints from the St Mary’s faithful after the win which was as convincing as the scoreline suggested. However, Adkins was adamant.
He said: “I’m going to look at the DVD because I think we were disappointed in a lot of the stuff we did. We won’t hide away from it.
“I put the stats out there – three points, a clean sheet and four goals. I want us to be better. I want more.
“I want us to play good passing football, do it crisply and move the ball about.
“Credit to the boys because we got three points and that is the all important one because this was a banana skin if you like because we were expected to win and we have won and got a scoreline we were looking to get.
“But I want more from the players, they are aware of that, and we start again tomorrow.”
